Dr. Lori Hall works with physicians who have been successful but are feeling less satisfied, less joyful, and even restless in their medical careers. She helps physicians recognize and act on these feelings to “Answer The Call” that wants to propel them up the next great hill of their professional lives blazing new paths of satisfaction, joy and success. Dr. Hall helps physicians “Answer the Call” to transform their personal and professional lives creating a portfolio of passions within or outside healthcare.
To assist physicians with the challenges and opportunities of answering “The Call” she has developed a specialized career development process the Physician Success Unlimited Program™ that builds on each physician’s innate talents and abilities and their hidden dreams and desires. Through this process physicians are re-energized and blazing new paths of professional and personal success and fulfillment.
Dr. Hall developed this process through working with individual physicians as well as through development and implementation of an internal coaching program for obstetrics and gynecology residents at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.
Background and Experience:
A recognized expert on physician satisfaction, success, and wellness, Dr. Hall has held workshops and given keynote speeches on personal and institutional resilience and renewal strategies to residents, faculty, practicing physicians, and healthcare organizations. Her most recent keynote was at the 105th Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly of the National Medical Association, Obstetrics and Gynecology section. Her articles on physician satisfaction, success, and wellness have been published in ACOG Clinical Review, Ezinearticles.com, and the online journal of the International Association of Physician Consultants and Speakers.
Dr. Hall has over twenty years of experience in academic, group, and private clinical practice and administration. Prior to launching her coaching business she was Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Medical Director of IVF program at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah, Georgia and Director of Reproductive Medicine at Henry Ford Health System, Detroit, Michigan and has served on clinical process improvement and medical school executive committees.
Education and Credentials:
Residency trained at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and subspecialty trained at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Hall is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Her undergraduate degree was in biomedical engineering at Brown University and medical education at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr. Hall’s executive and career coach training was through Success Unlimited Network®, LLC. Her training as a physician development coach™ was through the Physician Coaching Institute. Dr. Hall is one of the few physicians credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation.
Additionally, Dr. Hall also has over 100 hours of continuing medical education in medical management and quality through the American College of Physician Executives.
She is a candidate for a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Carlow University, Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Hall is also one of a few hundred physicians trained in Narrative Medicine by Rita Charon, M.D., Ph.D., Founder and Director of Narrative Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Hall is a member of the American College of Physician Executives, American Association of Healthcare Communications, American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, International Association of Physician Consultants and Speakers, International Coach Federation and the Physician Coaching Institute.
